History
I bought the car as a restoration project in 2010. It was a donated car to a High School in northern Tasmania but the teacher decided to sell it to me because of its fragility and preferred the students work on English cars.
I have completely rebuilt it using many new parts sourced from all over the world. It took seven years to complete. As the photo shows I have tried it out on a local race track and while it is much slower that other modern cars it nevertheless is a lot of fun to drive.
Modifications
The engine has slightly larger, early Renault Alpine cylinder liners and pistons and has been converted to 12 volts. Other than that it is fairly stock.
