History
I purchased this new from Bill Patterson/Cheney in April 1982. A rare if not the only, one owner Top 30 SLE Commodore in existence today? For those who don’t know GMH produced 30 of these vehicles for the 30 best performing Holden dealerships around Oz and gave them one each. They were the first model range modified by Peter Brock on behalf of GMH (as distinct from the Brock Commodore range by Peter Brock himself). Some of the Brock mods included L34 heads, larger air cleaner turbo 350 auto transmission plus handling enhancements.
Modifications
Replaced the Turbo 350 with a manual 5 Speed gearbox. Changed steering wheel and fitted a pair of driving lights and a set of steel colour coordinated mag wheels
