History
This car was one of the six Volvo Dealer Team cars that competed in the 1979 Repco Reliability Trial around Australia. The Holden team came 1st 2nd, 3rd and then a little old Volvo driven by Ross Dunkerton came 4th. It's not that car but was built the same! No. 68 driven by the late Trevor Stanley. It has been a rally car all its life and I have just competed in the 2016 Classic Outback Trial in AliceSprings in it. 60 starters and we came 16th Outright and won our standard class. A great example of Volvo's strength and performance.
