History
I've always had a long lived desire to restore a car and when I first saw this car I didn't even know it was a Volvo. This began the hunt for a dream to make into a reality.
Over 7 years had passed until I found the right car. My only requirements was that it had to run and be in my budget.
The car was originally white and lucky for me only need some work but not too to much to put me off the whole project. With no experience I began what was to be one of the most fulfilling challenges I've had in my Life!
I loved the lines of this classic car but it needed to be Black so, I spent almost 3 years meticulously logging every part as I stripped the car down to the chassis researched what I didn't know (which was almost every process!), made repairs primed and resprayed the entire car and put it all back together in my home garage.
During the the first lockdown in Victoria was a blessing because it allowed me to have the much needed time to complete my project, finishing in April 2021.
Getting those Club Plates was the highlight of my journey. It proved that I achieved the impossible!
