History
I purchased this beautiful Ford DC LTD in 2012. When new it served as a ministerial car but not just one of the fleet, this was the Prime minister's car! It held the special number plate 'CR1' from January 1994 to May 1995 transporting then New Zealand Prime minister Jim Bolger (1990-1997). The Australian equivalent is 'C*1' which currently is a BMW 7 series as is its equal in New Zealand.
Modifications
The car is in very original order but was fully resprayed in its factory Sandstone color due to many minor paint imperfections. Visually the only real addition is that I had the black exterior trim painted in gloss black, and the chrome/grey body strips are aftermarket not original.
