found the car in the free section of the trading post over 15 years ago. picked it up with the orginal engine in the back seat and a spare in the boot. The car was in lots of bits and needed a full rebuild. rebuilt the car in 2003 on a school kid budget and got it running. Started a full restore including a bare metal strip and full paint in 2010 completed in 2017.
Modifications
upgraded engine from 1989 audi 80 quattro 2l fuel injected. Full custom DIY engine mangement ECU from megaquirt. bare metal respray in 2k yellow, custom retrim of the interior, fibreglass custom dash. rebuild fuel system including electric fuel pumps and electronics injectors, full rebuild brakes and suspension.
