History
1994 Ford Capri XR2 Turbo originally purchased by Argyle Diamond Company in March 1994 from Midway Ford WA.
Some 20 years later I found “Lucy” (as she is affectionately known) looking very neglected at a wrecking yard in Perth and fortunately was being sold as a complete car. I could see that under the oxidised paint and dust there was a good straight car and a turbo model to boot!
I have not had to do to much work on Lucy. Fixed up a few minor dents and was able to locate a detachable hard top that required full restoration.
A wonderful piece of Australian Motoring history that received a bad rap in early production but was a very successful export to the USA market and is very much undervalued today.

Non-factory head unit and steering wheel.
Custom paint job to valve cover.
