History
The car is an original 3 owner car with a full history. it was purchased on the mid 90's by my father (how has owned many XY's and XA's) as a family daily driver. the car was daily driven to and from dads work with was only a few kilometres from our house up until 2009 when it was replaced by a newer and more comfortable car and then parked up until 2011 at which time dad gifted it to me to have. Mind you, it didn't look like this when I was given it.
The car has just finished a 4.5 year nut and bold restoration which was finish late last year and the car was handed back to me on the 21st of December 2021. the car is littered with NOS parts that were collected over many years by my father and I. the car has featured in the march issue or street machines readers ride and is about to have an 8 page spread with a right up in the July issue of Australian Muscle car magazine. the car has only attended one car show (as I live overseas and the car is in Australia) where it took out best ford on show.
its a car that so many people love as it has such a typical 70's colour scheme and feel to it.
Modifications
No modifications (other than a retro sound bluetooth stereo) to the car. The car is as per it left the dealership other than the roof colour and stripe colour. the roof was parchment and change to black around 1990 and the strip was not originally black.
