History
First registered April 1954, repainted Autumn Red about 1966. Bought by me 1995 - was drivable. Restored by me from 1995 to 2002 working full time at a commercial garage with professional assistance in assembly for tolerances/clearances. Returned to original colour, original interior maintained except carpet and headlining. New vinyl hood, totally rewired with a new loom
Modifications
Used as my daily driver so power brakes, all synchro Volvo gearbox + OD on all forward gears, flashers to supplement trafficators, reversing sensors, better stop lights, alternator in a Lucas generator body, fitted an extra set of Butler spotlights on extra overriders. Retractable seat belts front and rear. High mounted LED strip in base of rear window with a central red stop light, pair of white tail-lights & outer pair of orange flashing indicators. All "improvements" can be removed and any original parts restored to the car.
