History
The car began life as a Sport R with a 135 bhp engine (up from the standard 118 bhp) and trick suspension. I put single way Nitrons in and I got some superlight TMR wheels. I sprinted the car for a few years then built up a 160 bhp engine. I soon got the Honda bug and put in a K20A engine and gearbox. I bought second hand engine mounts and half shafts from the UK, exhaust locally from a friend and the gearchange mechanism and conversion wiring from Sydney. I had an oil line burst at Sandown which lunched the engine (spun a bearing) so I put in another K20. A Mocal sandwich plate broke causing the engine to lose all oil which lunched another engine. I purchased a K20/24 Frankenstein built engine which is almost ready to take to the dyno.
Modifications
Nitron 1 way adjustable dampers replaced by Penske 2 ways.
