"FOR SALE -MUST SELL, PARTNER IN FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY" , "check this one out" my mate said as he passed a copy of Snaketales to me "this looks promising". He was right. A couple of hmmm shall we say "entrepreneurs" had bought her off the original builder in Qld (1st rego 1991) in 2005 to spruce up their "business", seems it went belly up. The Partner to whom the car was registered(Qld) nicked off OS, Poland I heard later, left the car with the other Partner in Sydney out of rego, it seemed sus so I let it go but I never really stopped thinking about that red cobra. 6 months later I made contact again and the car was still there so I double checked for "clear title" and took the punt, travelling from far south-west victoria to the bright ligths of Sydney. She'd been let go,not well looked after but it was all cosmetic, underneath she was solid as a rock, took her for spin in peak hour traffic what a blast! although the bloke sitting next to me was a bit white around the gills,we came to a very favourable agreement,signed sealed delivered.Back home within the week,roadworthied, registered and sitting in my garage waiting for a sunny day.
