History
I purchased the car from eBay for $1000 with the intention of using it just for parts, from a guy who advertise it as a Kingswood, it had a Kingswood badged boot and was multi coloured by pressure pack cans etc. He said his brother in law & he bought it as a project and realised they new nothing about cars. It sat in my shed for quite a while as I have other projects on the go. I was talking to a mate about it over a beer when we decided to check the compliance plates, ran the numbers on the internet website and couldn’t believe it when it matched up to a HJ Monaro. so from then on I decided to rebuild it as I couldn’t bring myself to parting it out.
Modifications
when the car is finished the only modifications will be a little work to the motor, and changing the diff to a 2.6 with disc brakes for better fuel economy and stopping power, other than that every part that’s not replaced will be refurbished.
