History
I purchased the TOY944 about 17 years ago and have messed around with the car for most of this time changing engines and transmissions etc. trying to get something that I like. The car was in very bad condition when I purchased it and it really needs a good coat of paint now to finish it off.
Modifications
The TOY is running a balanced 2.5 ltr engine with Mahl pistons drop forged conrods, Findanza alloy flywheel, ported head, PWR radiator and 3ltr engine water pump, a totally modified injection and fuel system, a modified timing system and EMS Stinger ECU, Rotex supercharger giving 12PSI boost at 5,400RPM limited, 944 Turbo brakes, a front mounted intercooler and of course the usual fibreglass bonnet etc. The car is very fast a lot faster than my 944 Turbo car.
