History
Was off the road and in fairly average condition when we got it. It was completely stripped down to a bare shell (many hours of hard toil, sweat, some blood and much swearing), rust removed, straightened up and repainted. The engine has been reconditioned, along with front and rear end. We have rebuilt it and it is now registered. It took 3 years and 6 months but was been completely worthwhile. This GT is known as Benny. Benny won Best 242/262 at the Volvo Nationals in Warwick in 2017, and Best European at Leyburn in 2017. However, it was beaten by a Datsun 120Y at the Rosewood Car Show in 2016 (No, we don't know why!)
