I purchased this XU1 Mock-up from Paul Wingent in Whyalla around 1989/1990 ish.
Had a 202 engine come with the car (JP engine) with a seized piston.
It wasn't running when I bought it. It had a rebuilt 186 but I found a couple of reasons they couldn't get it running... it had the wrong length pushrods and the dizzy was 180 degrees out.
This was a very quick car.
Modifications
I rebuilt the 186 that was bored out 60' to 192.
Had a steel crank, Yella Terra head, flat top pistons, XU1 grind cam.
I buggered off the triple SU carbs and put on a new Holley.
