Memories
My husband, Ray, learnt to drive in this 1959 mini when he was just 10 years old . His father, who owned a garage, was passionate about cars and passed this on to his son. Ray started restoring this car in 1976. He later immigrated from Northern Ireland to Australia, where the car lay in storage until he returned in 2003. This time he had his future wife in tow, me. With 2 months until the wedding the race was on to get the car road ready for the big day. Three days before the wedding we received notification that we could use the mini as our wedding car.
