History
Vehicle sold new in 1950 to a Dr.Boetcher at Rockhampton. On sold in 1957 to an aircraft engineer Astey Rose of Rockhampton. Mr. Rose passed away in 1967 vehicle left unregistered. Purchased by a person to restore in 1975 but no work completed. I purchased it on 16 March 1999, it still had its 1967 rego lable on the windscreen. Ground up restoration from 16.3.99 to 16.9.99 then registered and drove back to Brisbane. The restoration mechanical work was done by Mr. Bill Crowhurst (now passed on) who was the GM mechanic on that car when it was new and remembered it. The upholstery by Russell Tucker of Allenstown Upholstery who recalled going in the back of it when his mother was bitten by a snake and going to the hospital with the Dr. Body and paint work by Warren Burgraff who builds and paints Hot rods for people from all over Australia.
Took it back up this year for its 20th anniversary to the Classics by the Coast car show.
Took out best closed car and top car of the show at All GM Day at Caboolture 2000.
