This was a surprise buy, My husband had always wanted a hobby car and something to work on. But lets be honest he isn't the most car savvy bloke around where I was brought up in my old mans shed working on impalas and corvets so I know a thing or two about restoring old cars. I purchased the car for my hubby after I sold my business and I had it for two weeks while he was away working. My dad and I worked on it straight for two weeks getting it in mint condition and I picked my husband up from the airport in it. his reaction was classic and he was in love.
Modifications
Changed the drive to power steering and added rear disk breaks as it was dangerous for me and my girly arms to drive. removed the old carpet and put new down and freshened up the interior, jazzed up the wheels with some new rims. we plan on taking the engine apart next year and boosting it up to a 302.
