History
I know it’s an odd choice, but when I was a teenager, this is the car I had in posters on my wall. Ford Cougar Eibach - looked so futuristic and sleek - and now I have one! Purchased in June 2010, I am trying to keep this vehicle as stock as possible, as there are only 100 in Australia. It has had 3 owners before me, with full purchase history from an FTE dealer.
It has 150,000km on the clock, and came with an aftermarket head unit and subwoofer with amplifier in the boot. Everything else is factory. As I like my sound systems, I haven’t removed this yet, but I probably will eventually to come back to complete stock.
In September 2012, it was in an attempted carjacking while sitting at the lights. The thugs cracked my windscreen, destroyed the side skirts and bent the drivers side window sill, but I got away after a short chase (thankfully). The windscreen was replaced, the drivers window sill was repaired, and the side skirts were re-moulded and painted. This is the only work ever done to the car.
Modifications
Aftermarket stereo - head unit, amplifier & 10" Pioneer Subwoofer.
