History
Original build number 1166, built at Toledo - Ohio, started life as a manual wagon coupled with a 360 AMC V8. was purchased back in the late nineties by a farmer from Kellyville NSW, who did some restoration work on the Jeep, re-powered it with the 350 Chev V8 and converted it to an automatic, did a fair bit of the interior and then lost interest in the project. Having a spare shipping container on the property he packed the Jeep in and there it stayed until August 2011 - 8 years in the container. He advised the Jeep for sale on Ebay, and being old school Jeep - I was the only one interested and pickup up a bargain. Since i have owned the Jeep, finished the interior, fitted a winch bar and winch on front, bigger wheels and a heaps of TLC, and she has become a very reliable vehicle. Also done a couple of charity fundraiser events with it as well, very fun vehicle, loves petrol, makes a nice noise and enjoy time behind the wheel 4WD driving with my mates.
