Car was bought as body only , had been stripped down by previous owner for parts for his restoration project, body was un wanted , this car had only done 73.000 miles approx. , and was heading for the tip when we came across it. we purchased for $300 , it was rust free except for one small patch in the roof gutter area passengers side, we thought carefully before we decided this would make a perfect body for a Gasser style drag car , and hence that’s what its becoming
Modifications
Entire original floor pan removed , and full race chassis installed , it has also had rear wheel arches cut out for large slick tyres to be installed , also has had four inch roof chop , and body shortened by a couple inches , which allows for roof realignment
