History
It's hard to believe that this 1/2 scale 911 was marketed to kids!
Originally sold through Porsche dealerships in 1984 at a cost of US$4,500, it is one of the rarest Porsche's ever produced. With only 224 ever made, this 911 Junior is definitely a survivor.
It is powered by a 4 stroke Honda pull start motor and has a top speed of 30kph.
Mated to a 2 speed forward with reverse gearbox, your child would have had to learn how to use a clutch just like dad.
To make it as authentic as possible, it has working headlights, blinkers, park lights, brake lights and horn. It also has a key for the ignition.
This particular example is believed to be the only one ever sold in Australia. It originally came with a log book pouch just like it's big brother that had an instruction manual and a spare parts catalogue.
