History
This car was found at a local Jaguar specialist. it had been sitting in a shed for 3yrs and had suffered an engine fire sometime prior to his purchase. the paint was burnt off the bonnet, and everything on top of th motor was burnt. the trim was aged and split, the wood faded and the roof ripped and there were some previous dodgy panel and paint repairs. We bought the car in July 2011
Modifications
initially stripped and repaired restored or replaced everything on top of the motor including 4 wiring harnesses, radiator aircon compressor. We had the bonnet resprayed and the roof and the wood trim replaced. We had the car back on the road by Christmas 2011. We showed the car at the All British day 2012 where we achieved a Bronze in the JDCA Concours D’etat. Since then we’ve had a bare metal respray with panel repairs. full retrim inside with best quality leather and Mercedes carpet and the car is now in A1 condition. The car was fitted with extractors, Momo steering wheel and shifter knob when we bought it and we’ve fitted a new stereo and speakers with Bluetooth phone and audio and an ipod jack
