History
I bought this vehicle in 2010 and completely restored it from the ground up . It has had a full body restoration ( rotisserie ) and full paint in the original Platinum Blue (paint code supplied by Ford ). Head lining and all trims were re-upholstered in original ford trim. New vinyl roof also in original pattern and colour . Motor rebuilt , transmission rebuilt and all components either rebuilt replaced or, on the odd occasion, repaired.
I had this type car as a young husband growing up with four boys. It was a vehicle that was absolutely suited for a growing family ( especially boys ).
As I retired many years ago I needed a "PROJECT" which was going to be a around 18 months. However, this turned into a four year, albeit loving, job, keeping me off the streets and broke.
Modifications
No modifications in terms of the vehicle . Only items added are Central locking and a GPS tracking system controlled from my phone
