History
In 1976 only 500 SS model mini's were produced in a one off production. I purchased the car in late 1999 and have been slowly restoring it to original spec, all the while using it as our second family vehicle. The upholstery is currently being restored.
Modifications
The SS came with Metallic "Omega Navy" paint, Gold pin stripping, internal bonnet release, Vinyl roof, Radiomobile stereo twin speaker radio cassette, Heated rear window, tinted glass, ROH mini lite alloy mag wheels X5, twin fog lamps and dual air horns, extras as standard equipment.
