History
This is my old ln106 hilux and was my first introduction to modifying vehicles. Initially I did some terrible “p” plater mods, before striping it back and making it more capable than any other vehicle I’ve ever owned. In the 6/7 years I owned it I put over 170,000 Km on the clock and seen so much of Australia in it, this particular car will always hold a special spot in my heart as I consider it my first proper car
Modifications
- rears up front with drop hanger, shock towers, raised bumps, banana shackles,
14” shocks and 7” brake lines
- e locker, high pinion front diff, 4.88 ratios and chromo cvs
- full custom touring tray built by myself
- ifs widtrack conversion
- 35” tyres
- super soft synthetic grass carpet (because why not) and some tasteful interior mods like upgrades surf seats, VN door speaker pods, hidden uhf
- full 12v set up
- one piece tail shaft
