THE NISSAN EXA!
My first car only cost me $2,250.00 and it was the coolest car out! It had a removable roof that leaked uncontrollably, a power steering pump that would need replacing every six months and rear shocks that bounced like a basket ball - but all this did not matter, because it gave it character.
Throughout my 2 year ownership it broke down once or twice (probably due to my own driving) and I always looked forward to driving it!
Modifications
I couldn't afford much, however I saved up for a set of top quality tires, some new shockers, a couple of power steering pumps (these counted back then) and a performance exhaust system. (you cant change the look when they got it so good!)
