History
I've owned this bike for around 35 years now & I've rebuilt it at least twice, it came out of the very last batch of Nortons to be made in the original Norton works in Bracebridge St., Burmingham before they moved to London under the AMC banner. It was originally used by the Queensland police force & it has matching frame & engine numbers. I've built it along the lines of a "Cafe racer" but not quite as radically as some that you see. it's more like what I feel the company should have made & they probably would have survived a lot longer if they had the foresight to style them like this. I'm never completely happy with how it is for long & there is always something else I'd like to change to make it even better !
