History
I bought this Stagea to be my daily in January 2018. The previous owner had rebuilt the engine and restored the car, and I have big plans for it.
Whether or not these plans eventuate are yet to be seen, but so far I've done a few things to the car and it's a super fun drive.
Track days are a breeze in this capable machine, nothing breaks and the brakes hold up extremely well!
A Stagea Autech 260RS is a GTR in wagon form - same RB26DETT engine, same 5 speed gearbox from the 32GTR, same Attessa AWD system and same HICAS four wheel steer system.
It has the same coloured interior (grey and orange), big GTR brakes and a special bodykit by Autech.
Each 260RS started its life with a RB25DET engine and were modified individually by Autech, so they come with individual quirks and strange, specially modified parts (like suspension, which is a hybrid of normal Stagea and GTR suspension).
(Stageas were never sold in Australia, every one you see here is a JDM import)
This makes it exciting to work on as there are no English workshop manuals so you are going in mostly blind and have to rely on those in the (Australia) Stagea community with the experience and knowledge to pass on!
Anyways, it is currently running 237kw at the wheels (AWD).
My end goal is single turbo conversion 500whp daily... we shall see.
