History
Fourth owner, first Australian owner. Always has been a Californian car until imported to SA by third US owner who owned it from the 1970's. He returned to the US selling myself the car prior to departure. He envisaged a minor restomod car as the original trans and engine had long been removed and he was planning a rack and pinion (which he sold with the car) and T5 manual conversion. My plan is to continue on this path.
Modifications
Installed a tcp power rack and pinion steering, krc power steering pump, maier reinforced upper and lower control arms, tcp subframe connectors and connecting cross brace, 2.25” exhaust with flowmasters.
Engine has recently had a top half rebuild with GT40 heads. Next will eventually be a Holley Sniper
