History
1955 Sunbeam Alpine roadster. The Grace Kelly model from the film “To Catch a Thief”. I have owned and loved it for 24 years. It has a 2.2 litre stroked Hillman Hunter GT motor, disc brakes, Celica 5-speed gearbox, racing harnesses and is lowered. All changes made in my time of ownership. Has been raced at Sandown and hill-climbed. Used to take residents at Bentleigh Manor Aged Care Facility on joyrides twice.
Modifications
Disc brakes, Celica gearbox, lowered, Hunter Gt engine stroked to 2.2 litres. 15 inch wheels fitted with radial tyres .
