History
The car was purchased new by my grandfather on September 29th, 1967. I have been driving it since 1986 when I was 19 years old after my grandfather (then 83) didn’t pass the annual driving test. The car was sitting around doing nothing, I smashed the TC Cortina I had at the time in the roadworks at Forrest Chase, and he said I could use his car. I’ve had the car longer than he did now, but it will always be his old car to me.
I used to get driven to primary school in it and now I have used it to bring all four of my children home from hospital in it and I usually drop them and pick them up from school in it as well. Bench seats front and rear (and seat belts all round) means we can all fit in and go cruising.
