History
The 48 is rare in both Australia and Italy with this one being imported from Manduria in Italy's south in 2010. A full bare metal restoration was carried out including, repaint, electrics, engine/gearbox. The Brio has won 4 class awards in Brisbane bike shows and is the subject of a book by the owner 'A tin of Tomatoes and a Tiny Scooter'
Modifications
Colour scheme pays tribute to that of the earlier 1950's Ducati Cruiser scooter. Rear luggage rack was a factory option and no longer available so a replica was fabricated from photos. No longer available, damaged floor runners were replaced with modified alloy and rubber strips from a Vespa 50 of the period.
