History
Bought the car already built with the VN V8, T350 & VN LSD shortened rear end, HR front end with HQ discs & a shortened commodore manual steering rack, Iditit tilt adjustable steering column & Flaming River steering wheel. Had a Classic Instruments gauge cluster.
Modifications
The HR front end replaced by a Rodshop power steer unit, power assistance supplied by an Astra electric pump fitted through the RH inner guard & a Heidts adjustable power steer valve.
T350 replaced by T700.
The brakes replaced by 320mm Willwood kits front & rear with a Willwood rear brake pressure regulator.
The wheels are Boyds Junkyard Dogs 7x17 & 8x17 wrapped in 205/50 & 225/50 Dunlop Sports.
A/C is a VintageAir Gen11 Compac fully integrated system controlled by a Dakota Digital Climate Control unit.
Other electrics include Dakota Digital electronic instruments, Cruise control, Gear Shift selector indicator, Outside air temp sensor.
To provide enough voltage at idle, the standard v belt set up was replaced with a 170a alternator & 4 rib belt.
