History
This is a 1924 Harley Davison FE 'Superspeed' outfit, 1000cc v twin motor fitted with a 1923 Goulding chassis and the correct 1924 Harley Davison sidecar body.
My Harley Davidson was sold by Lenroc of 122 Pirie Street Adelaide at 110 pounds in 1924 as a solo model, but extra items available.
The same model was by Harley Davidson Motor limited of 64 Newman Street London W1, for 117 pounds and 15 schillings.
My HD 'Superspeed' model was sold to a person in Mt Gambier, as a sports model with dropped down handle bars for racing, aluminum pistons, drilled connecting rods, acetylene lighting system and magneto ignition system and mechanical horn. A side car chassis and body was an extra 28 pounds and 5 schillings.
Then in 1968 it was purchased by Jeff Schaefer (Life member of The Veteran and Vintage Motorcycle Club of South Australia) then passed onto to me.
The HD has been continually used all that time by both the original owner, Jeff Schaeffer and my self in any rally and or event whereby the HD is exhibited and used always as one expects a 98 years old machine performs magnificently.
regards
Brian Forth.

Modifications
There are no modifications, the Harley was 'restored' in the 1960's which was required to exacting and correct standards, fitting and colour as you see it today.
Still going strong at 98 years young.
