When I bought the mini in Canberra, it hadn't been driven in over 20 years. I embarked on a 2 year restoration, leaving nothing untouched.
I completed all the work myself, including painting, sewing the interior and a minor engine restoration.
It was a great car, the only issue that it developed after restoration was vapour lock which was quickly sorted by an electric fuel pump.
I have since sold the Mini to an enthusiast in Sydney.
