One day I came home to a neon and a mother saying I owed her $340. Upon inspection of the neon I discovered it had been driven across town with no coolant and was in a nightmare of a state. I took the car down to the shop I was doing my work placement at and worked away when it was quiet for around 6 months then parked it up behind my school as I was in the boarding house. Eventually I got it registered and drove it 300k's home to Melbourne when're I cleaned up the paintwork and put it up for sale. The car sold for $1500 but it would cost me a lot more, I didn't take the plates off. 6 months after selling the car I was amazed to be getting fine after fine for the car in Sydney, I fought and fought the fines to the point where the NSW debt collection authority froze my bank accounts and took all of my money, it took the threat of legal action to clear the fines and get my money back
