History
Bought in 1999 in Eltham Victoria. History as I was told is he bought if from someone in Broadford who found it in a farm shed near Swan Hill. I am not sure which side of the border as there was no previous registration history in Victoria.
It is unrestored with repairs being made to keep it roadworthy and reliable and now For sale with 20 years of collecting parts, manuals etc
Modifications
It was orginally powered by a 144 but a Repco rebuilt engine of 170 cubic inches was fitted in the 1970's. This 'new' motor is still in the vehicle today. Also a bearing in the original 4:1 ratio diff destroyed itself taking the pinion and crown wheel with it so a 3.5:1 ratio was fitted keeping the larger ute brakes and 5 stud wheels. This was a common pre-delivery swap back when these were new as it gave better fuel economy and a better cruising speed (still won't sit on 110 km/h though).
