History
Bought her around 14 years ago for $2000 found her online on gumtree so I jumped straight on a plane from Adelaide to Melbourne picked her up from Dandenong and started the long drive back when suddenly the bloody drivers window rolled down but refused to go back up so ended up freezing my a*** off with it being 6 degrees windy and rain through out the entire trip this was what seemed to be the longest drive in my life but finally I made it home.
To get her through Roadworthy & ID check had to remove gas system as it was out of date replace swapped sports steering wheel with original and replaced drivers seatbelt.
Drove her around for 2 years or so when suddenly rear main seal went while going up a big hilly road took 10 litres of oil to make it home lol.
Pulled the motor out sold it to a mate with intentions of putting a persuit 308 LV2 motor in then changed my mind & found a VT roller cam motor & so between having 3 kids many jobs & Holdens shutting down I then made the move to melbourne in search for work.
I came accross a 82 dated blue virgin bore VT prefix 308 bottom end for a bargain $500 & that was it my final decision to put her back to original.
been buying bits n pieces when i can but it's very hard on 1 income with a family and so she's been off the road for 12 years now :(
Getting very close to finishing the motor and both myself and my family are getting very excited to be finally hearing this old girl come back to life with that emotional first drive which will be a treasured memory im sure...! ;)
