History
Purchased the vehicle 3 years ago for $700 off Facebook market place. It had broken down 4 years earlier and was sitting in his driveway growing moss. I winched it onto a trailer and brought it home. ALL work has been done in MY garage as a “Budget Build” with parts sourced from ebay, wreckers and marketplace.
A 2 year rebuild project was set as it was still 2 years away from being eligible for Club permit.
Every part of the car has been removed, cleaned, repaired and re-installed.
Full engine re-build, with Tickford head, ported & polished (by me).
You would not believe how happy I was when it cranked over for the first time.
Brake upgrade and everything working it passed RWC and was finally put back on the road in September 2020. It’s now a weekender. It has cost me a grand total of $5500 but is worth a Million bucks to me as I have sourced parts from all over the country and I have done ALL of the work myself.
Built it, not bought it. It’s been an adventure.
Modifications
Rebuilt motor, Tickford (ported and polished) head.
Pacemaker headers with hi-flow cat and 2-1/2” exhaust.
Slotted & ventilated discs.
LTD woodgrain interior.
