History
Built in Louisville Kentucky 9 October 1970 and sold by Harriman Motor Co in Harriman Tennessee to J.Roy and Betty Frost of Kingston Tn. The car was ordered with the high compression 4V 429 plus the high performance manual valve body C6 transmission as part of the Police Interceptor package. After covering 35,367 miles the LTD had a long rest in a car collection before arriving in Australia in October 2011. Although it has been resprayed it has never been in an accident and is in good original condition with the exception of the motor which was replaced in the late '70s with a lower compression 460.
Modifications
15x10 Performance Superlites with 26x12x15 Mickey Thompson SR's on rear plus 15x8's on front with 225/60's. Lowered Pedders coils and shocks. 750 Demon carb and Crane digital ignition replace originals for much improved economy, driveability and performance. Grant steering wheel is only interior mod, the car can be returned to stock in a matter of hours.
