History
Mk7 Bolwell was a kit car and this kit was started around 1970 with the car being registered in 1973.
The car has been through various types of restoration in its life the last being in the early 1990 when the roof was cut off and the car turned into a Mk7 sports. The car still carries full street registration although it doesn’t get out as often as i would like.
Over the last few years the car has been competing at the Phillip Island Classic in Division 2 Regularity.
Modifications
Body has been modified into a convertible, it has also had the wheel arched flared to accommodate wider wheel.
The engine has been modified with head work, camshaft and triple weber carburettors.
The gearbox is a Celica 5 speed
