I bought this Kombi 1998 thru the trading post.
We have had many epic road trips in it to the outback of NSW, WA, NT & SA.
I have transported band equipment in it 100's of times.
I have lived in the Kombi in the past.
I used it as a work vehicle when working as a painter.
I prefer it's current look, I have no intentions of painting it.
It has appeared in an episode of Season 2 of the ABC's "The Ex P.M", and also in a book entitled "My Dream Kombi", as well as in a West End Beer T.V commercial, and the Kombi appears in a video for the song "SILVER CITY HIGHWAY" by MARILYN ROSE & THE THORNS.(see it on YouTube)
It's named "The Blue Demon" after a legendary masked wrestler from Mexico.
They're only original once !!
