Started the rebuild in February 2013 after purchasing this on the Sunshine Coast. It appeared to be in good condition but on closer inspection someone had done a job with the plastic filler. So a full ground up rotisserie body off the chassis rebuild began. after having the car blasted I needed to replace both rear quarters, inner and outer sills lower front guard sections, the front lip of the bonnet, the inner skin of the boot, and numerous other sections like the inner guard section formed from 25 individual pieces. The above photo shows the car after I have completed replacing everything. I have lead wiped most of the car where possible and the car is currently being final prepped and painted. this is an early number car so it is equipped with a third seat positioned behind the driver in a side saddle position.

Hey, we could if we were a bit closer, lol
I’m in Sydney,
The statesman is all original down to the paintwork never been in a smash.
My hubby is the mechanic he keeps her going as she is only parked up.
He had one of our local guys here to do the cold air intake and the Mafless tune on her.
She goes like clappers, I had to get him to take her back when we first had her done to calm her down a bit she was TOO toey for me to drive. Sideways in the dry but she still dose that, if you want to give her a hit and she’s a big car.
Lol 😂😂😂
She only gets out once a year to get her pink slip done for rego. Quite sad isn’t it?
Nice chatting to ya, you take good care of yours and enjoy every minute.
