History
Originally registered in Victoria before being on sold, into QLD, at least 4 times over the years. I purchased it as a cosmetic fixer upper with 31,000klm showing. The attraction was the motor being a Suzuki DR650 variant from the Suzuki Freewind model. The motor has a twin spark head and twin carburettor setup that is different to the standard DR along with being geared for road use. In Australia these are very rare so I’m hoping to be able to track down other owners or former owners.
Modifications
Seat has been re-shaped and recovered with the silver trim matching frame and tank graphics. Complete headlight wheel & insert is a modern replacement as is the centre stand. These parts were sourced out of Germany from an interest group that caters to Sachs 125, 650 & 800 road models.
