Birti as we call him was bought new in Melbourne and spent his first years in Tasmania, his first owners took him back to the UK and toured both the UK and France, The rest of his life was spent working his way up to Queensland , in 2001 he was fully restored by the then owner, who took Birti across the Nullabour no less than 3 times while in his ownership .
