History
This is a replica HX GTS Monaro. It started life as a 6 cyl 1978 HZ GTKingswood SL and was fitted with a 253 engine prior to purchase. I have had the vehicle since 2021 and it was a barn find.
Through word of mouth I found it sitting in the corner of a shed covered in dust. Body and paint was in great condition so very little body work was required. Such a fantasic find so they are still out there if you look hard enough. Mine took 2 years of searching but was worth it.
Its been on a few club runs and a couple of trips to test out the mods with good results.
Modifications
Currently sporting GTS rally 235/60/R15 on 7" rims front and 255/60/R15 8" rims on the rear.
3 speed trimatic gearbox and a 2.78 diff for cruising.
Has a 450cc holley and open air cleaner.
