History
I imported the Chev from the US in 2009. This was my first experience buying a car from overseas. Surprisingly it was straightforward. Jumped on a plane, went to the US, had a look at the vehicle, paid the seller the money, arranged local car transport to the port, and came back home. The car was an original 16,000 mile car. Still had the original, unused spare wheel and tyre. Purchase price including shipping was $11k. Sold in 2014 for $16k. The bloke that purchased it converted it to RHD. Sad for such an original car, but, once you sell them their fate is beyond your control.
Modifications
Nothing other than fresh tyres to replace the old originals.
