History
Bought as a restoration project it has had a full nut and bolt restoration and rebuild. It had spent part of its life as a race bike so was not in the best of shapes but was mostly complete, having been partially rebuilt by the previous owner.
Modifications
The only non-OEM parts are the exhaust pipes, being Higgspeed pipes from the UK. The pipes that were on the bike when I bought it were also non-OEM and quite beaten up so, rather than try and trace down some original pipes at huge expense, I opted for aftermarket pipes that looked somewhat similar to the OEM pipes but reflected the fact that the first thing most owners of these bikes did back in the 80's was to replace the originial exhaust pipes with performance aftermarket expansions - making more power and noise!
