Purchased from Qld, had been bare metal respray and custom trim by previous owner who had bought a basket case from NSW owner in 2001.
Modifications
Custom trim and custom paint with pearl based on original Regatta Blue paint by previous owner in 2003, yet still gets plenty of compliments. Just completed 2300km trip from Qld thru central NSW back to SA in 44-46 degree heat with my 11 + 12 year old kids, a road trip to provide a lifetime of memories! It was a fun trip despite a few small issues, as the car had done less than 4000kms in several years, altho A/C would have been nice (which all parts have been sourced and to be fitted as time allows). Chev Caprice dash had been fitted by original owner when converted to RHD (yes .. why?) and despite plans to change dash and interior, its grown on us and will stay for the time being, perhaps permanently as a custom vehicle rather than an original (we have a pretty much original '74 already). Wheels, engine, suspension and full electronic dash amongst many other small things to be done shortly as time allows, as this was purchased to be a fun cruiser, not a shed queen.
